I'm Youri Catinat

I'm Youri Catinat, born in Belgium in 1984. I have a background in industrial engineering, which gives me great versatility and a solution-oriented mindset.

I've been working with SAP since 2007 — 18 years of experience, from the ABAP backend to modern Fiori interfaces, including several S/4HANA projects. For over 10 years I've specialised in SAP integration, first with SAP PI/PO and now with the SAP Integration Suite.

During my career, one of the achievements I'm most proud of is implementing electronic invoicing in FEDCOM — the Belgian federal government's SAP-based accounting system — by integrating Mercurius, the government's Peppol access point. I've also worked as development team lead and SAP architect on several large SAP projects.

I'm a true fullstack developer. My passion for web technologies (React, TypeScript, Node.js) feeds directly into my SAP profile, and I feel just as comfortable on the backend as on modern user interfaces.

Above all, I'm a customer-oriented person. Understanding and analysing my clients' needs is a key part of my work — the goal is always to deliver the solution that fits them best. I keep learning every day, and I'm always looking for new challenges and new technologies.
